Care Instructions:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe the links with a clean, damp cloth to maintain their shine.
- Stubborn Dirt: Use water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush for more stubborn dirt.
- Post-Cleaning: After cleaning, wipe the links with a clean, dry cloth to ensure they are thoroughly dried.
Usage Instructions:
- Adjusting the Collar: If your prong collar becomes too tight, simply add or remove links to achieve the perfect fit. Each additional link adds 1 1/5 inches (3 cm) to the collar length.
- Adding/Removing Links:
- Select the link to be removed.
- Slide the link toward the end of the prongs.
- Squeeze the prongs together to allow the looped end to slide off.
- Add or remove links as needed for proper collar sizing.
- Maintaining Balance: Ensure an equal number of prong links on each side of the center plate for balanced training communication and collar longevity. If an odd number of links is required, one side should have one more link than the other to keep the center plate at the front of the dog’s neck above the trachea.
Important Note:
- When ordering, choose the correct millimeter-sized prong link in the same metal composition as your collar to maintain consistent tensile strength and collar integrity.
